Psychokinesis (aka telekinesis) is a powerful and potent psychic ability where the psychic can move things without touching them, possibly to a fatal end to those who attack or anger them.
System
Roll: Wits+Empathy vs 4+(Power Level Used)
1) The psychic has an effective mental Strength of 0. Objects can be moved (5+Wits) Yards / round.
2) The psychic's mental Strength is 1. (7+Wits) Yards/round.
3) The psychic's mental Strength is 2. (9+Wits) Yards/round.
4) The psychic has a mental Strength of 3. At this level, the psychic can levitate herself, regardless of weight, and moves thus at walking speed. (11+Wits) Yards/round.
5) The psychic has a mental Strength of 4. A this level, she also gains a free 'extra' object that she can move without splitting her concentration. (13+Wits) Yards/Round.
If the psychic has sufficient strength to lift a living creature, the target can (if it's aware of the psychic's intent to lift it) hold onto something sturdy to anchor itself. The victim and the psychic then make contested Strength rolls (the victim's Strength versus the psychic's mental Strength). If the target has nothing to grab, it cannot resist.
A psychokinetic must be able to see the object she wishes to manipulate and must use a modicum of concentration to manipulate an object. However, she can split her attention and lift multiple objects, so long as she dedicates an action for each object lifted (per the usual splitting-dice or multiple actions rules). The total weight lifted cannot exceed the psychic's usual lifting capacity.
If the psychic attempts to wrest an object from someone's grasp, make a contested roll pitting mental Strength versus the target's physical Strength, both diff 6. A tie means both hold onto the object, but neither can take it away from the other.
To use an object (like a gun), you must roll the appropriate Wits+Empathy roll to pick it up, and then appropriate roll to use the item (e.g., Wits+Firearms to fire a gun). When performing actions in this manner, Wits substitutes for Dexterity, and mental Strength substitutes for Strength.
