The Hakken prize ancient pieces of art and often have such objects in their homes. Most of these treasures have awakened spirits that can impart bits of wisdom. This Gift coaxes the spirits of items to speak and tell their tales. An Ancestor-spirit teaches this Gift.
System
After the Hakken touches the object, a Manipulation + Etiquette roll is made, diff 7. For each success, the spirit will impart one brief bit of legend about its past. This Gift can be used on common items; a gun might speak of its wielder, or a teacup of the Kuei-jin ceremony where it last saw use.
