Dowsing Rod

Gnosis: 5 This forked stick of hazel, hickory, oak, ash or yew is useful in locating particularly unspoiled areas (such as likely sites for caerns). It must be activated, and the user must concentrate in a distraction-free atmosphere for its power to work properly. If the rod is passed over a spot where there is significant Wyrm taint, it has a chance of shattering. (The Storyteller should roll the rod's Gnosis; on a botch, the rod will snap and be useless ever after.)
